James Wesley "Jim" Baker, son of Ray James and Hazel Mills Baker, was born April 14, 1941 in Couch, Missouri and departed this life on April 2, 2013 in Columbia, Missouri.

On September 19, 1998 he was married to Gail Davis, together they shared the last fourteen years.

Jim had professed his faith in Christ and was a member of High Point Baptist Church.

He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army from September 8, 1960 until his honorable discharged on September6, 1962.

Survivors include, his wife, Gail, of the home, one daughter, Sonja (Kevin) Blackburn of Lebanon, Missouri; one brother, Joe (Phyllis) Baker, of Eldon, Missouri; one sister, Ruth Kelley, of Daphne, Alabama; three grandchildren, Gage Alexander, Jessica Lynn and Abigale Irene Blackburn and many other relatives, and friends.
