Meyersdale, PA, March 12, - Funeral services for Forest Edison Swearman, who died suddenly at his home in Adams County, PA, last Friday night, March 8, 1935, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, the pastor, Reverend H. K. Hilner, and Reverend B. A. Black, pastor of the Amity Reformed Church, conducting services.
Mr. Swearman was a miner and his fellow workers attended the funeral in a large group.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie S. (Keefer) Swearman; four daughters; Evelyn Grace, Estella Fae, and Esther F. Swearman all at home; and his mother, who resides in Meyersdale, PA.
Interment will follow the services at Union Cemetery.
