Angelia C. Higginbotham Phillips, beloved mother, age 75, born in Jacksonville on January 5, 1938 to the late Doyle V. and Mary L. Carter, a native of Callahan passed away suddenly on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Shands in Jacksonville, FL.
She is survived by her sister Jeanette Cottington of Coco Beach, and her children, Richard, James Jr. (Wanda), Martin (deceased), Patrick, (Levona), Daniel Bunkley, one daughter Anita (Greg) Nissen and her grandchildren, Derek, Justin (Christie), David (Kelly), Erin, James III, Richard, Elizabeth, Christopher Bunkley, Sarah Dill, Deanna, Greg Jr. (Amber) Nissen, Jonathan , Stephen Myers, Felicia Allen, Mark Bunkley, Teiah Eggie, P.J. Bunkley, and several great grandchildren, and great great grandchild.
Pallbearers are Wallace Smith, Ronnie Braddock, Donnie Braddock, Kimbo Clark, Justin Bunkley, and Greg Nissen, Jr. Visitation was held from 6 to 8pm on Thurs. June 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Callahan Funeral Home with Funeral Services also in the Chapel on Fri. June 28, 2013 at 11:00am with interment to follow in Jones Cemetery, Callahan.
