Antonio "Al" Chávez was joined in the arms of Jesus peacefully on June 26, 2013 in his loving home. Antonio was 73 years old and just celebrated his 50th anniversary with his bride, Josie Chávez in April of 2013.
Antonio was a Christian, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Al was born in Corrales, NM, and lived in New Mexico his entire life except through the years of his proud service in the United States Army.
Al's parents were Rumaldo and Ignacita Chávez of Corrales.
Al is survived by his wife, Josie, daughters, Tina and her husband, Steve, Yolanda and her husband, Mark and Antoinette and her husband, John, grandsons, Steven, Aaron and his wife, Elizabeth, David, Travis, Ryan, Johnny and Luke and great-granddaughter, Lucia.
