Beatrice C. (Green) Fay, 84, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Fay, Jr. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She worked as a Chip Mounter for Datel in Mansfield for over 30 years, retiring at age 77. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, in her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Joan K. Mastandrea and Leo J. Fay both of Stoughton, Mary J. Bailey of Rockland, Nancy J. Gates of Haverhill and the late Charles P. "Sonny" Fay III. She was the sister of Marguerite Anagnoston and Catherine Darling both of Stoughton, Rosemarie Atkinson of Brockton and the late Joseph Green, Winifred Stewart, Edith Lowell and Leo R. Green, Jr. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 29, at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
