John L. Armstrong, 41, of 48 Neversink Road, Reading, and formerly of Chambersburg, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Reading.
Born Aug. 6, 1960, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Robert L. Armstrong of Chambersburg and the late Joyce M. McCulloh Armstrong.
He was a Protestant.
He graduated in 1978 from Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
For most of his life, he was a truck driver.
He enjoyed power lifting and body building as well as racing and working on cars.
It was his wish to benefit others in donating his liver and kidneys.
