Edwin Anderson, 93, widower of Eva Mae Reynolds Anderson, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born June 26, 1919 in Stearns, Kentucky he was the son of the late Clint and Laurie Winchester Anderson. He was a former coal miner, Kraft Foods employee and Lawrenceburg Farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include one son: Phillip (Beverly) Anderson of Salvisa; two brothers: J.T. Anderson of Detroit, Michigan and Millard Anderson of Sassafras, Kentucky; two sisters: Beatrice Whims of Traverse City, Michigan and Betsy Spencer and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Steve Haddix officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceburg Cemetery with Lois Chilton, Harry Maddox, Kyle Maddox, Lamont Whims, Otis Knox and Bert Patterson serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
