Mary Kaye Lamey, 90, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Anderson, passed away June 25, 2013 at the Westside Health Care Center in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born June 7, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Kistler) Tackett, in Anderson, and was a life long Anderson resident.
Mary Kaye is survived by her son, Gary C. Lamey and Diane Thomas of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Terry N. (wife, Kristen) Lamey of Brownsburg, and Joel D. (wife, Cindy) Lamey of Fishers; great granddaughter, Aryn N. Lamey of Brownsburg; great great granddaughter, Kyra L. Lamey of Brownsburg; two nieces, Barbara Ann (husband, Michael) Vetor and Mary Ann (husband, Rick) Wildman both of Anderson; nephew, Michael (wife, Julie) Tackett of Alexandria, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 68 years, Charles R. "Ike" Lamey and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janet Tackett.
