Marguerite Morgan DeBerry Jones, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, after a brief illness. She was also known as "Muddie" to her grandchildren and friends, and "GiGi" to her great grands. She was born on January 17, 1925 in Royse City, Texas, daughter of Roy Morgan and Ethyl (Ballard) Morgan. She has been a resident of Titusville for 32 years, having moved from Jesup, Georgia.

She was the beloved mother of Nancy Abner and her husband, Charles of Titusville, Florida, Charles Burke DeBerry III of Titusville, Marguerite Higgins and her husband, Peter of Juno Beach, Florida, Roy DeBerry of Titusville; and adopted daughter, Catherine (Cass) Pohl; and sister-in-law to Richard DeBerry and his wife, Jane Martin of Birmingham, Alabama.

She was a treasured grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Adrienne Hoban (Vincent), Michelle DeBerry, David Harrelson III, Regina Wells (Jim), Allan Abner (Leslie), Julie Abner, Hank DeBerry and Eric Benson (Rebecca).
She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren, Connor and Chloe Hoban, Jaeden and Shae Wells, Morgan, Riley and Charlie Abner, Hope and Josiah ElAouar and Jacob Benson.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Burke DeBerry II and Clarence Jones; her sister, Barbara Fikes; and her brother, Roy Allen Morgan, Jr.

She worked many years as a bookkeeper and insurance agent. In 1974, she owned and operated Mercury Dry Cleaners in Jesup, Georgia. After moving to Titusville, she was employed by The Titusville Housing Authority for 6 years.
Marguerite was deeply loved and will be missed by all. She impacted so many lives with her sweetness, many talents, sharp mind and sense of humor. She never missed the opportunity for a good game of cards or dominoes and oh, how she loved her Atlanta Braves. She never missed a gam!

Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Stan Todd officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walk About Ministries in Titusville, Florida.
