Lee H. Armer, 57, independent oil producer, died Sunday at his home after a long illness. He came to Fort Worth in the early twenties as secretary-treasurer of the Texas-Louisiana Power and Light Company. He was president of Southwest Broadcasting Company in the early thirties. He went into the oil business with his brother, the late M.B.Armer of Wichita, Kan., in 1936. He was a director of Continental National Bank, Fort Worth Children's Museum, and the Independent Petroleum Association of Amercia. (Dallas Morning News 8-14-61)
