He married Janice (Orrell) Fouts March 22, 1958 in Battle Ground, and she survives. Mr. Fouts was a 1953 graduate of Flora High School and he attended Purdue and Butler Universities. He worked as a Supervisor and Engineering Coordinator at Eli Lilly for 40 years, retiring in 1993. He was a lifelong member of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church and also attended Bethel Christian Life Center. He was a Company Commander with the Indiana National Guard in Delphi and Monticello. He was a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving with his wife is a son; Craig C. Fouts, II (wife, Betsy) of Chesterton, IN, a daughter; Andrea Fouts Olsen (husband, Eric) of Willow Park, TX, and two brothers; Jerry Fouts (wife, Peggy) of Salem, SC, and C.N. Fouts (wife, Lynn) of Rockville, MD.
Visitation Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Memorial Service Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Also surviving are four grandchildren; Peter, Craig III, Andrew, and Christopher Fouts. Preceded by a brother, Richard Fouts and step-father, J.F. Shanks.
