Hedury Hedy Meda Abdelnour, 90 Today we celebrate the life of Hedy Meda Abdelnour. Born in Fairouze, Syria, she was raised in Detroit MI as the eldest of six children.

Widowed by the handsome and loveable Louie Abdelnour, she was happily married 51 years. The adoring mother to Candy Williams (Kenny) and Cheryl Joseph Kuchynski (Jim) and the proud Situ of Lou Stout, Leeann Stout (Brian) and Jasmine Kuchynski, her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her sisters Alice Saig and Helen John, and countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and honorary family members.

Hedy worked as a legal secretary for tax attorneys and the Florida Child Support System. She spent her later years traveling the globe with her husband and family. Whether jetting off to a far-away region, cruising the Caribbean, or hopping a bus to Biloxi, she was always on the go. She was a member of the Salaam Club, Syrian Ladies Charity Society, Molaka Club and St. Andrew s Church and was involved with the ECW, Birthday Club, Sewing Club and Cursillo.

Visitation will be at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jax, Fl 32211 on 6/26 from 5-7:30pm. Services will be held at St. Andrew s Episcopal Church 7801 Lonestar Rd. Jax, Fl 32211 on Thursday 6/27 at 10:30 am followed by a graveside service at Oaklawn Cemetery.
