Timothy John Hruz, 52, passed away in a motorcycle accident June 23, 2013. He was a native of Alexandria, Va., and had served in several branches of the U.S. military. He was a beloved son, brother, and father.

He was working on completing his bachelor"s degree at Flagler College. During his years in the military, he traveled extensively. He enjoyed working on helicopters, vehicles, and motorcycles. He was also a licensed real estate broker and was very active at Good News Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Gabriella E. Hruz; mother, Juanita Hruz; brother, Stanley Hruz ; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at Good News Church at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, followed by a pot luck dinner. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors. Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
