Mrs. Effie (Lucas) Logan, 91, formerly of Stockwell, died in the Knights of Pythias Home at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Born at Oxford, she was the widow of Lyman Logan. They were married in 1935 and Mr. Logan died in February, 1962. She went to the Knights of Pythias Home to live in August, 1962. A resident of the Stockwell community most of her life, Mrs. Logan was a member of the Methodist Church there and the OES Chapter at Clarks Hill. There are no immediate survivors. Friends may call at Dwight R. Baker Funeral Home, Dayton, after 4 p.m. Saturday. Services there at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Clyde Wake officiating; interment in Stockwell Cemetery. Surviving is a nephew, Willard Lucas of Morocco.
