Stockwell, Ind Sept 14 – Mrs Emily V Killgore, widow of Augustus Killgore and a resident of this community for 70 years died Sunday evening at 7 o’clock of a cerebral hemorrhage which followed an illness of two years. She was the daughter of David and Phoebe Robinson and was born in Carthage, Ohio, September 25, 1840, coming to Indiana with her parents in 1854. Her husband died 35 years ago. Surviving are three grandchildren. Harry and Clyde Peed, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs Walter Clawson, of Thorntown, with five great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the home of her niece, Mrs W O Peed, in Stockwell, Monday evening, where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev Richard Pengilly, of the local M E Church in charge; burial in Stockwell cemetery.
