Birth: in Nondstettin, Wuretenburg, Germany.

Emigrated from Hamburg, Germany aboard a sailing vessel to United States 14 June 1867, following our Civil War, settling at Davenport, Scott county, Iowa, until death of husband August 1874 then in 1875 to Chicago, Cook county, Illinois and finally in 1896 to Kansas City, Jackson county, Missouri where she also had children living and there. She passed away March 1906.

She was first buried in Jewish section at 1872's historic Elmwood cemetery on east 15th, now 4900 Truman road, at Van Brunt, then according to records, reinterred at Rose Hill cemetery in 1975 with NO location given. At least two of her reported thirteen children, Henry A and Martha were entombed in the Mausoleum with their spouses and children. The Mausoleum chapel now honors her son-in-law, Henry Arthur Guettel, who with her son Henry A organized in 1888 what became the Palace Clothing company for some seventy-six years, with stores in Emporia & Topeka Kansas, Saint Joseph & Kansas City, Missouri till 1964.

Death: in Kansas City, Jackson county, Missouri.

Mother: Augusta Ettinger (1811-1885).
