Dorothy Marie Waters was born on February 14, 1924 to Nancy Ethel Donoho Bowling and Walter Bowling in Wayne County, Illinois and passed away at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida. Dorothy worked as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed all types of crafts, especially ceramics, sewing, and knitting. Mrs. Waters is survived by her son, Gary Rodgers (Barbara), Orlando;; her daughter, Constance Danner (Perry), Orlando; her stepson James Rogers (Mary) of Port St. Lucie; stepson Jack Rodgers of MA; granddaughters: Dana Broxterman (John) of Apopka; Nichole Bland of New York; Christina Tassel, Orlando; Stephanie Barnette, Orlando; grandson Sean Dickerson, Oviedo; great grandchildren Ian and Logan Broxterman; Brian Waldeck (Kandy) of Canyon County, CA; Daniele Zilinski; Samantha Barnette; and one great great granddaughter Brittany Waldeck. Mrs Waters was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Waters, who passed in 1985. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
