DEATH TAKES YOUNG MOTHER
Mrs. Lenore Kraft, 29, Formerly of Valparaiso, Dies In Gary.
Two small children and a grieving husband today are mourning the death of a young Hobart mother, who formerly resided in Valparaiso. She was Mrs. Lenore H. (Snow) Kraft, 29, who died at 5 a.m. this morning at Mercy hospital, Gary. Internal hemorrhage was the immediate cause of death.
Mrs. Kraft was born in this city on February 20, 1911. On September 2, 1934, she married Dr. R. W. Kraft. For the past three years the couple resided in Hobart, moving there from Valparaiso. Two children were born to the Krafts. They are Barbara Ann, 3-1/2 and James Charles, 1-1/2.
Surviving in addition to the husband and children is Mrs. Kraft's father, A. J. Snow, Valparaiso; four sisters, Vera, Margaret and Martha, all of this city, and Lucille of Columbus, O.; two brothers, John of Valparaiso, and James, who recently joined the draftees at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Memorial rites will be held at St. Paul's Catholic church, Valparaiso, Thursday. Time of services has not yet been set. Rev. J. A. Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul's cemetery.
The body may be viewed through Tuesday night at the Rees Funeral home in Hobart. Thereafter the remains may be seen until time of the services at the home of the father, A. J. Snow, at 601 Chicago street, Valparaiso.
