Mr. Ray J. Caldwell II Ray J. Caldwell II died June 26, 2008, at Southwest Christian Care in Union City, Georgia. A native of Fulton County, he was born November 9, 1959, and was the son of the late Ray Jeremiah Caldwell Sr. and Cora Evelyn Brady Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Dallas Smith. Ray is survived by his daughter, Christina Phillips, and her husband, Jack; and his sisters, Barbara Sanders of Stockbridge, Ga., Audra Martin of Dallas, Ga., Rita Sitting and her husband, Georgia, of Lake Charles, La., and Romona Blanton and her husband, Joe, of Jenkinsburg, Ga. Also surviving is his extended family, including Walter and Willene Pierce and Anita Strickland, and nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street where the family will receive friends on Saturday evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Mr. Caldwell's memory to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road Union City, Ga.
