Born May 13, 1910, in Lima, he was the son of Francis and Katherine Hiltner Ebner.
Mr. Ebner attended Lima Baptist Temple and the adult Bible class of the church. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mollie Scott Ebner; three stepsons, Howard Nelson of Bettendorf, Iowa, Omer Nelson of Dayton and Claude (Ed) of Greensboro, N.C.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Alvretta Stines of Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. Joe (Ruby) Hopkins of Cridersville and Mrs. Roland (Ruth) Myers of Versailles; three brothers, Ted of 2275 N. Cable, Claude of Rt. 2, Lafayette, and Paul of 1501 Lowell; a sister, Mrs. O. E. (Stella) Angell of 1113 Brice; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Chiles and Sons - Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Rev. Ronald Cannon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
