Dayton - Allen E Elkins, 73, of 266 Prairie Lane, Dayton, died unexpectedly at 12"07 AM Thursday in Home Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr Elkins was an extrusion foreman at Alcoa when he retired in 1979. He had worked at Alcoa since 1939. Born in Stockwell, November 15, 1913, he was reared there, and was a 1932 graduate of Stockwell High School. He had lived in Tippecanoe County all of his life. His marriage to Kathryn E Chamberlin was April 1, 1939, in Frankfort. She survives. Mr Elkins was a member of Alcoa 25-year and Alcoa Retirees Clubs. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs George (Janice) Dell of Long Island, New York, and Mrs John (Sharon) Kay of Huntington; one sister, Mrs Robert (Edith) Wilkin of Michigantown; and a brother James B Elkins of Lafayette.
