THOMAS A. WATTS
Final rites were held here Monday for Thomas A. Watt 88, father of Mrs. D. Dillingham of this city. His death occurred last Friday.
The service were held at 10 a.m. from the Puryear Mortuary conducted by Rev. Phillip Nygaard, pastor of the first Presbyterian Church and burial was at Madison, Kansas in the Blakely Cemetery.
Mr. Watts was born June 7, 1874 at Virgil, Kansas and for many years farmed in this community. Prior to coming to Herington two and half years ago he and Mrs. Watts lived in Eureka.
For a short time Mr. and Mrs.
Watts lived with their daughter Mrs. Dillingham and Mr. Dillingham but in recent months both have been residents of the Herington Rest Home.
He is survived by his wife of the Herington Rest Home and one daughter, Mrs. Ora Dillingham of Herington.
