Services for Gerald Steve Belgard will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Harmony Church, Deville with Brother Ritchie Craig officiating. Burial will be in Paul Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday at Harmony Church from 4:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday.

Mr. Belgard, 91, of Deville passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence.

He was a member of Harmony Church Family, Deville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He coached Little League Baseball for several years, and was the owner of Steve's Lake Landing. He also owned his own plumbing and backhoe business. Mr. Belgard loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Sarah Elizabeth Bradford Belgard; brothers, Ralph Belgard, William Belgard, Ray Belgard, Huey "Buddy" Belgard, and Carl Belgard; sisters, Ruth "Doll" Peart, Lydia Reeves, Maude Deville, Myrtle Deville, Elizabeth "Bet" Cloy, Helen Chaudoir, Evangeline Belgard and Hazel Belgard; grandson, Joey Belgard.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 66 years, Leola V. Paul Belgard; sons, Rodger Belgard, Steve Belgard; daughters, Brenda Belgard Bryant, Kathy Belgard Rush; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Keith Belgard, Jon McLain, James Swanson, Clint Virden, Marlon Rush and Blake Swanson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Rush, Zak Swanson, Kolton Swanson and Ian Virden.
