He was a brother of Granville Trivett (died in infancy); Charlie Trivett (1891-1956); Perry Monroe Trivett (1887-1979); Wirth McKinley Trivett (1898-1980); Zeb Trivett (1896-1906); Quince Trivett (1900-1967); Verdie Trivett (died in infancy); Jennie Trivett (1885-1904); and Emily Trivett (1889-between 1900-1910).
Of Samuel and Laura Trivett's children, he would live to be the oldest. Death came to Perry Monroe Trivett on May 12, 1979, just three days after marking his 92nd birthday. His funeral was held May 14th at Adair Funeral Home, being laid to rest at South Lawn later in the day.
