Gudrun OSTERBERG Born Gudrun Pauline Winther, in Mohall, North Dakota on September 18, 1906, she was the oldest child of four. She married John Osterberg on June 16, 1927, and was married 62 years, until his passing in 1988. They homesteaded in Greene, North Dakota until 1937, when they moved to Seattle. Gudrun taught school in North Dakota and worked as a bank teller at Guaranty National Bank in White Center, where she retired. Gudrun died peacefully, with her family at her side on Wednesday evening, July 6, 2005. Her Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church (8316 39th SW) on Tuesday, July 26th at 1:00 p.m.
Viewing will be on Monday at Yarington's Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 12721 30th Ave NE, Suite 101, Seattle, 98125.
