Jesse Elton Arnold, 75, 344 N. Maple St., died Saturday evening in Memorial Hospital. He was a retired New York Central employee and had been a telegrapher for 36 years. Born Feb. 28, 1889, in Arnold, he was the son of George and Nancy Nonnemaker Arnold. He married the former Bertha Anna DeWitt who survives. He was a member of the Congregational Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Marvin L. and Ross L. of Marysville; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary E.) Smith, also of Marysville; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Cunningham of Arnold. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Faulkner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Krout officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery.
