Lena Belle Baldwin, 94, formerly of Bellefontaine, died Friday, March 15, 1991, at 9:25 a.m. in St. Anthony's Healthcare in Lafayette, Ind., where she moved in 1983 to reside with a daughter. Born July 23, 1896, in Clarksfield, she married David R. Baldwin in 1918 in Harrod and he died Jan. 20, 1969. A former school teacher in Hardin County, she was a member of the First Friends Church in Bellefontaine. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Neil (Elaine) Jones of Columbus, Mrs. Robert (Lorna) Vermilyea of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Edwin (Zylpha) Hoover of Lafayette and Mrs. James (Barbara) Kloboucnik of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Leslie Dittus. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Eichholtz Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Zanesfield Cemetery.
