Miss Euphemia Dittus, aged 22 years, died on Friday night, February 18th, of consumption. The funeral took place on Monday, the remains being laid to rest in Norman graveyard.

Miss Phoemie Dittus was born in April 1865 and died in February 1887. Sister Dittus united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Lynn Valley in the spring of 1886, in a meeting conducted by Rev. E.H. Snow. She lived a consistent Christian and member of the church unto death, and died in the triumphs of a living faith in Christ as her Saviour. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.H. Snow, in Lynn Valley Church, and her body rests in the Norman cemetery waiting the resurrection. She leaves many friends and classmates to mourn her loss. She was loved by all who knew her for Christian virtues. We shall meet her on the heavenly shore.
