PICKTON—Services for Julie Ann Alford, 54, Pickton, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Beaty Funeral Home chapel, Winnsboro, with the Rev. Michael Coker officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery.
Mrs. Alford died May 13 in a Winnsboro hospital.
She was born Dec. 29, 1942, in Hopkins County to the late George Albert and Nettie Dunavent Brown. She was a metal worker at Kendon, Inc., and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Pickton.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Jerry Alford, Pickton; sons, Richard Alford, Mount Vernon, and Shannon Alford, Pickton; brothers, Bill Brown, Jesse Brown, Ben Brown and Sammy Brown, all of Pickton, and Jearld [sic] Brown, Como; and sisters, Peggy Allen, Winnsboro, and Molly Henson, Perryville.
Pallbearers include Tim Brown, Renny Brown, Jessie Don Brown, Jearald [sic] Brown, Jr., Vernon Allen and Mike Allen.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Henson, Allen Henson, Richard Frances, Jason Hamm and Phillip Porch.
