Mrs. John H. (Mary Josephine) Wade, 72, of Anderson Island, died yesterday in a local hospital. She was born in Winlock and came to Anderson Island 15 years ago after living 55 years in South Tacoma.
She attended Edison School and the old Tacoma High School.
She was a former member of White Clover Chapter No. 31, Order of the Eastern Star, and attended the Asbury Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Statler of Browns Point; two sons, Harry F. of Tacoma and Harold A. of Seattle; three sisters, Mrs. David Carstens (sic) and Mrs. Jessie Huff of Tacoma and Mrs. Zella Allen of Los Angeles; a brother, Henry Berryhill of El Paso, Tex., eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Piper Funeral Home, the Rev. Harold B. Long officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
