Margaret is buried next to her husband, without a personalized head stone.

•Note:
Margaret Fancher Kenner was related to the famous Captain Alexander Fancher of Osage who led wagon trains to California until the year 1857. He started west with a train worth over $70,000. When they reached Utah they were massacred by the Mormons led by John D. Lee and everyone was killed except some children two of whom were Captain Fancher's own. The army later arrested Lee and tried him, giving him a choice of death's and he was shot. Captain Fancher's children were brought back to Osage where they lived out their lives. Their names were Tryphena and C.C. Fancher.

Note:
Margaret was the wife of James Wick Kenner. They married
in her father's home on her 20th birthday, in 1855.
The Fanchers and the Kenners had been close friends since
the Fanchers arrival in Carroll Co. in 1837. The Kenners and the Fanchers belonged to the same Osage Masonic Lodge
#219, which had been charterered out of Tennessee and
despite it's lodge number, had been the first Masonic Lodge chartered in Carroll Co.

December 29, 1911

James Polk Fancher received a phone message just before noon yesterday that his sister, Mrs. Margaret C. Kenner, died at her home at Osage at ten o'clock yesterday morning.

Deceased was about 76 years of age and had been in bad health for a long time though for the past week or two she was thought to be improving.
