Helen Elizabeth McMillan, 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 peacefully at home.

Helen was born July 7, 1928 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Ben and Harriett McMillan and moved to Port Charlotte in 1960 from Kansas City, Missouri. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. She was a veteran of the Korean War where she served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.

There are no immediate survivors.

Private interment will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Arkansas City, KS.
