Alfred Eugene Newby was 1 of the younger children children of Sarah "Sallie" Elizabeth Brittana King and Thomas Zachariah Newby. He married Velma Mae Garrett on September 29. They had 3 children Danny, Bobby & Carolyn. He had 6 grandchildren 1 granddaughter Elizabeth, 5 grandsons Christopher, Jermery, William, Charles, Nathaniel. And 9 great-grandchildren 2 great-granddaughter Jennifer & Skylar and 7 great-grandsons Johnathan, Robert, Jacob, Ethan, Logan, Zachary & Daniel. And 1 great-great-granddaughter Layla.
