MRS. MARY ELIZABETH ADAMS, 75, of Coldwater, Miss., formerly of Memphis, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, Miss., with burial in New Hope Cemetery near there. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams, the wife of Herbert Polk Adams, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Cleveland of Southaven; a son, Billy W. Nelson of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Hettie Faye Simpson of Chicago; a brother, Galen Noblin of Florida, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests any memorials be sent to New Hope Baptist Church.
