Bertha Bernice Bogardus, 84, of Denver (formerly of Brighton) passed away on January 14, 2006. She was born in Kentucky on February 25, 1921 to Gus and Eunice (Collins) Pigman. Bertha was married to Wiley R. Bogardus, who preceded her in 1976. She had lived in the Denver area for the last 60 years. She worked as a private health care provider for many years, and also worked as a hostess for the White Spot, Bundy's Festival, and Old Denver Restaurants. Her greatest love, however, was serving her community and the people around her.
