EBENEZER GUY CALLED AFTER LONG ILLNESS - Dies at Home West of City, Near Linwood, Early Today. Ebenezer Benjamin Guy, R. R. No. 6 near Linwood died at 4:30 a.m. today at his home after an illness of one year's duration. Mr. Guy was born in Davenport on Oct 28, 1855 and was a life resident of Scott county. He was united in marriage to Miss Francis Van Ornam at Kansas City, Mo. in 1882. The couple moved to a farm west of the city where they have since resided. Surviving are four sons, Arthur, Eldridge, Will and Henry, Davenport, and Roy Guy, R. R. No. 6; one daughter, Mrs. William Carstens, Davenport, two brothers, Theodore and William C. Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Bornholdt, Mountain View, Cal., and nine grandchildren. The body was removed to the E. A. Horrigan & Son mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
