Services Held For James G. Edwards

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday for James Garland Edwards, 80, of Homer. Mr. Edwards died Friday at a Homer hospital.

Services were conducted at the Homer First Baptist Church by the Rev. A.O. Jenkins. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery under the direction of the Davidson Funeral Home.

Survivors are his widow, two sons, Billy Edwards of Bluefield, W.Va., and Ralph B. Edwards of Jackson, Miss.; three brothers, T. Edwards and C.B. Edwards both of Bossier City and Cullen Edwards of Springhill; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Banks of Monroe, Mrs. Evan Robinson of Homer and Mrs. Eloise Wilson of Bossier City; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
