Heart Attack Proves Fatal To R. R. Gill.
R. R. Gill, owner of the Pleasanton Plantation, 21 miles East of Ruston, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon while walking through his farm. A physician's report stated that he succumbed from an acute heart attack.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon with funeral directors in Farmerville in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Viola Warren, daughter of Mrs. J. E. Warren, of Ruston. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. J. E. Gill and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. S. J. Booth, Miss Lillian Gill, Mrs. S. E. Mann, Theas Gill and Wilbur Gill of Dallas, Texas; Rassie Gill of Wichita Falls, Texas and C. R. Gill of his parish.
