Jack Clifford Cramer, 44, a 26 year employee of General Telephone Co. of Ohio, died at 1:55 a.m. today in Marion General Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack at home Sunday night.
Supervisory engineer for equipment projects at General Telephone, Mr. Cramer came to Marion 12 years ago from Pomeroy.
He was a member of Community United Methodist Church.
A native of Jackson, he was born September 9, 1928, to Charles and Margaret Jacobs Cramer.
His Masonic affiliations were Trowel Lodge 132 F&AM; Trowel Chapter 70 RAM; Trowel Council 71 R&SM; Jackson Commandery 53; Knights Templar and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus.
Mr. Cramer had served in the US Army Signal Corps and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Marilyn Struble Cramer; a daughter Jackie and a son Dan at home; his mother of Jackson; and a sister, Mrs. Joyce Sage of Paw Paw, MI.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Deming Thomas Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery at Jackson.
