The St. Joseph County, MI, "Online Marriage Index" lists the marriage of Henry Fredericks to Hester Holderman (B-20). These children appear to be Hester/Hetta/Hetty's by a previous marriage to a P. Haulterman. Variant spellings of Hetty's married name must be Holderman/ Haulterman/Halterman. There is a discrepancy in age for Henry A. Haulterman between the 1850 US Census, above, and Henry's stone in Poe Cemetery. Whatever his age and true date of birth, it is clear that he was born in the 1840's in Pennsylvania, and that Hetty and her first husband, P. Haulterman, came later to Michigan than Henry Fredricks, who had a daughter, Rachel Rebecca Fredricks, born in Newberg Township, Cass Co., MI, by 1837.
