Funeral services for SFC Charles A. Brantley Sr., US Army(ret.) will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from Union Baptist Church, 720 North Clark Street. The body will be place in the church for viewing from 10:00 AM until the 11:30 AM funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Brantley of 2323 Reeves Cir. passed away May 24, 2013 in a Macon hospital, with his family at his bedside.
SFC Brantley served the United States Army for over twenty-seven years. He was awarded many citations including the Purple Heart.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Christine Brantley, two sons, Mr. Charles A. Brantley Jr, Mr. Melvin (Sandra) Brantley, all of Milledgeville, GA: one bother Richard(Edna) Brantley of Leavenworth, Kansas, six grandchildren, one great grand-child and nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
