Eveline was born February 16, 1920, in Bible Grove, a daughter of Alonzo and Elsie Beulah (Roberts) Osborn. She married Raymond T. Towle on January 19, 1935. She later married Gordon Waymoth on July 14, 1974. He passed away on January 16, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Jean Dukeman; a grandson, Thomas A. Bean; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Towle; stepson, Paul Waymoth; seven brothers, Verlie, William, Cecil, Richard, Alonzo Jr., Dale A. and James; three sisters, Nellie, Ruth, and Virginia.
Survivors include her four sons, Thomas Towle and wife Loretta of Arcola, Donald Towle of Cooks Mills, Larry Towle and wife Elizabeth of Lerna and Ray Towle and wife Mary of Sullivan; three daughters, Betty Bean and husband Donald of Mattoon, Nancy Trelstad and husband Melvin of Red Wing, Minnesota and Arlene Harrell and husband David of Charleston; one stepson, Gary Waymoth and Cheryl of Bean Station, Tennessee; three brothers, Harold Osborne, Jesse Osborne and wife Kate and Harry Osborne and wife Charlene all of Mattoon; one sister, Thelma Blankenship of California; twenty-three grandchildren, Brenda Dukeman Ferguson, Deborah Dukeman Duzan, Rex Dukeman, Greg Dukeman, Teresa Dukeman Yingst, Donald Bean Jr., Mary Ann Bean, Tina Bean Dennis, David Trelstad, Ronald Trelstad, Michael Trelstad, Janis Trelstad Scarbrough, Matthew Towle, Roberta Towle Wilburn, Rebecca Towle Norman, Douglas Towle, David Harrell, Amy Harrell Valentino, Shawn Towle, Angela Towle French, Peggy Towle, Kevin Towle and Curtis Towle; four stepgrandchildren, Maggie Hawkins, Jackie Hawkins, Angela Waymoth and Teresa Williams; thirty-nine great grandchildren; twelve step-great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and four step-great-great grandchildren.
Eveline attended the Eastside Baptist Church and was formerly a member of the Friendship Club. She was a devoted, kind and loving mother. She took great pride and concern for her entire family. Eveline loved to watch and feed the birds, enjoyed working in her garden and the flower it produced. The staff and residents of Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home where she resided the last year enjoyed listening to her singing along to the music which she so enjoyed.
