Mrs. Clara May Griffith, sixty-nine, wife of James M. Griffith, Oxford, died suddenly at her home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. Born in Drumore Twp., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Evannah Stoner McComsey and was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church, Quarryville RD. She is survived by her husband, by three brother, Oliver and Leonard McComsey, both of Reading and John McComsey of Birmingham, Ala. (Lancaster New Era - June 10, 1957)
