Mary Jo Achors, 72, of Shelbyville and formerly of Dugger area, passed away Thursday August 14, 2003 at the Heritage House in Shelbyville. She was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana April 18, 1931 to Fred and Eva Boruff Christy. She is survived by her husband Clyde Luther Achors, one son Billy Kent Achors and wife Ruth of Shelbyville, one daughter Debra Jean Wallen of Shelbyville, a brother Burl Christy of Cass, two sisters; Virginia Rankins of Dugger, In. and Marjorie Cox of Lyons, In., one granddaughter Amy Marie (Hostkoetter) Cain, and one grandson Micah Dean Hostkoetter, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Betty Yoder,and three brothers; James L., Delbert, and Robert Christy. Funeral services will be Saturday August 16, 2003 at 1:00PM at the Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger, In. with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. burial in the Dugger Cemetery.
