Michael Allen Floyd, 62, former resident of Duchesne, Utah, passed away peacefully June 7, 2013, in American Fork, Utah, surrounded by his family.

Mike was born August 1, 1950, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, to Thomas Allen Floyd and Mary Louise Long. He graduated from Duchesne High School in 1968, where he was Student Body President and Valedictorian of his graduating class. He married Denice Brown June 6,1969, in Duchesne. They had 5 children and were later divorced. He married Connie Taylor in 1987 and they were later divorced. Mike had a great love of the outdoors and was a skilled craftsman. He was a long time employee of Kohl's market where he was the meat department manager.

Mike is survived by his 5 children, Travis (Amy) Cedar Hills, UT; Dan (Stephanie), Saratoga Springs, UT; Rustin (Emily), Keller, TX; Angie (Greg) King, Eagle Mountain, UT; and Aimee (Kerin) Ure, Sammamish, WA; 15 grandchildren and one on the way; and a brother, Marvin (Cheri) Floyd. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside service were held at Strawberry Cemetery in Duchesne UT on Monday June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
