Donald Heilman
Donald W. Heilman, 71, of Campbellsburg, Ky., died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Aug. 21, 1931, in Shelby County, Ky., the son of Raymond and Margaret Banta Heilman. He was employed at the Henry County Water District; had been an employee of the United Citizens Bank; and had taught in the Trimble County schools.
He was a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church; Campbellsburg Lion's Club; Campbellsburg Masonic Lodge; was chairman of the Mary Dean Barnett Foundation; sexton of the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery; and a former member of the Henry County Library Board. He was a member of the Masonic Order, and the Milton Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Ruhl Heilman; two sons, M. Shane Heilman of Cincinnati and D. Trevor McGuire of Campbellsburg, Ky.; one daughter, M. Shannon Boyd of Paintsville, Ky.; three brothers, Phillip Heilman and Neil Heilman, both of Campbellsburg, and Rodney Heilman of Versailles, Ky.; one sister, Betty Sue Chilton of Hemet, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church, with burial in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. EDT today at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg, and from 11 a.m. EDT until time of the service Wednesday, at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Mary Dean Barnett Foundation, or the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.
