Clifford Thomas "Tommy" Bergstresser, age 52 of Kunkletown passed away on Monday, May 2nd at his home. Clifford was born in Bethlehem on October 14, 1958 and the son of Lois Anne (Chambers) Counterman of Kunkletown and Carl Benjamin Bergstresser Jr. He had most recently worked as a Dispatcher for CFC in Quakertown. Most of his life he had worked Driving Truck for Holland Manufacturing in Succasunna, NJ and also worked as a Mechanic at Roadway in Tannersville. Clifford served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 924 in Wind Gap. He was also a member of the Brothers of Renovo in Pa. and the Bikers Against Abuse. We have been blessed with the presence of Clifford in our lives and he will be deeply missed by his parents: Carl Benjamin Bergstresser Jr. & his wife Helen of Hatfield and Lois Anne (Chambers) Counterman of Kunkletown; his two children: Randy Bergstresser and his wife Catherine of Saylorsburg and Shelly Anne Belotti of Saylorsburg; a brother: Carl Benjamin Bergstresser III and his fiancee Joan Borger of Kunkletown; half-sister: Angel Dawn Jankowski and her husband Chris of Dallas, Georgia; Stepbrothers: William John Counterman of Pen Argyl and Kenneth Robert Counterman of Lafayette, NJ; Stepsisters: Karen Lynn Counterman of Mt. Bethel and Kathryn Jane Hendershot of Bangor. He was a loving and gentle Pappa to his 4 grandchildren: Amber Leann & Rocco G. Belotti; Emma C. and Molley E. Bergstresser. He is also survived by several; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Clifford helped raise Michael James Hamershock, Jessica Lynn Hamershock and David "Frock" Jones. Funeral services will be held 10 am, Friday, May 6th at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert with the Pastor Kenneth Moore officiating. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Additional viewing will be held Friday, May 6th from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home. Clifford will be buried at the Plainfield Township Cemetery in Pen Argyl,Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made In Loving Memory of Clifford T. Bergstresser to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Transplant Unit, 500 University Drive, Hershey, Pa. 17033. The Donald N.
