Age 89, of Lower Maple Avenue, Elmira, NY, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Elcor Health Services. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894. Her funeral and committal service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family. Frances was born June 24, 1918 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Stewart F. and Myrtle E. Dean Dibble. She attended area schools and worked at Remington Rand and later at Trayer Products. She was an avid collector of Teddy Bears and enjoyed her home on Lower Maple Avenue. Survivors include her sisters, Betty and Lewis Taylor of Pine City, NY, Shirley Hall of Pine City, NY and Marijane Ames of Elmira, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents; she was predeceased by her three sisters, Jane Ripley, Alice Miner and Eleanor McCormack. Published in the Star-Gazette on 6/16/2008.
