Inscription
Epitath on headstone is inscribed in German and is translated to read, "Here lies Eva Dorothea Kesler, Daughter or Christian Leman. Born 24 January, 1734. Died 24 July, 1798." She is buried next to her husband, Johannes (also spelled John)Kessler, in the Old Glade Creek Cemetery off Grace Hollower Road in Blue Ridge (Botetourt Co., VA). This cemetery is not to be confused with the larger Glade Creek Cemetery, which is across Webster Road. The two burial grounds are affiliated, however, the "old" one is the original one, with land donated by the Kesslers. (per contrib#47568319)
