Ralph P. Ames, 69, of 25 Chestnut Drive, Elkton, Md., formerly of Quarryville, died at noon Friday in Coatesville Veterans Hospital after an illness of several years. He was retired and was a U.S. Army veteran. Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Robert and Altha Wall AMes. Surviving are a brother, Kenneth Ames, Florida; three half brothers and two half sisters: Ralph Findley, Landisville; John Findley, Willow Street, and Edgar Findley, Quarryville; Annie Findley, Hampton, Va., and Alma Schwebel, Elkton, Md.
